Memories...

I was bored so i decided to surf you tube and find the video of Titans Military Band in Singapore Youth Festival 2004.. Wha, it really brings back much memories man... All the sweat, tears, henta exercises, joy, music and so much more!! I really miss those moments that we shared together.. Working together as a team, as Titans Military Band... We achieved the GOLD AWARD and went into the FINALS!!

It was really tought, but it was really fun and worth it.. I remember that was the only year i got so high that i suffered from over exhuastion during one of the camps... I remember we saboing Lisa with ice cream and water as it was her birthday and i knocked my nose against the sink... I remember Edwin and I working really hard to perfect our solos in Firebird...

All the tears shed as a band member, friend and sectional leader.. The nights we spend at Benedict's house to prepare the uniform parts and all.. The marching from morning till night.. Rushing down from school.. Marching in the soccer field that was a mud pool and having centipedes crawling all over our legs.. Stinking up the public transport with our sweat smell.. Hahaz.. All those were just great..

After viewing the video, i feel like re-living the process again... All the teamwork, pain, joy and all.. We WERE the BEST BATCH in the history of Ping Yi and Springfield Secondary!

Hahaz... I am amazed by how straight our dresings were, how perfect our rotations were and how united we were.. We were small in numbers, but we were loud and strong!! I miss the moments.. Band in 2003 and 2004 were the best... Such memories live on forever!!

I am glad to ever have that experience.. =)
